How to sign up for the listserve:

You will get an e-mail back from yahoo with further instructions.

Click on groups.
Enter SouthernTierBicycleClub in the Find a Yahoo! Group field
Click on Search, which will bring you to the SouthernTierBicycleClub page.
Click on blue highlighted portion.
Select Join This Group, and follow instructions. At the Join This Group page, it will ask you to sign in.

3. Why have I not received an e.m. telling me I am on the listserv, or seen messages I have posted?
Did you select your current e.m. address when signing up for yahoo?? If not, your messages are in your Yahoo e.m. box, not is the e.m box you generally use. To fix this, access your yahoo account again and make that selection. Easy to miss, and several of you have reported the problem. So, when you sign on to Yahoo, make sure you select where you want the messages from the list sent to.
4. Can I access the list of past listserv messages on the web? Yes

Put the above in your list of Favorite Web sites, and you will have immediate access to all messages posted on the Yahoo STBC listserv. Click on it. See what you get. Put in FAVORITES (or whatever your browser calls them). Ready for quick access. Works. Handy. Especially when you want to access a past message that you may have deleted from your e.m. box.
5. How do I reply to only the sender of the message rather than the entire listserve?
There are two REPLY choices at the end of every listserve message: Reply to sender, and Reply to Group. Click on the desired choice, type your response, and send it. Voila.
