Meeting Place - Catholic Church in Windsor

From Binghamton, East on NY17/I86 to Exit 79. Right at bottom of ramp, first right to church.

To Susquehanna PA

  • Right from lot to NY79
  • Right on NY79 toward Susquehanna
  • Entering PA, the highway number changes to PA92, continue straight until junction with PA171 then
  • Left across bridge on PA171 to town
  • Left up the main street

Return to Windsor

  • Continue through town on the main street
  • Up a fairly steep hill
  • Don't know PA numbers of this route, but if in doubt keep left along the main highway
  • Entering NY you are on CR225 continue till Damascus
  • Left on old NY17 - now numbered CR28
  • Cross bridge to Light at intersection NY79.
  • Left at light, then Right to starting point.

Places to Eat -

  • In Susquehanna - Two diners on south side of the main street
    Town and Depot

Notes -

  • This route can be done in the opposite direction just as easily.
  • This is a very shadey route, especially at certain times of the day. Makes a good ride on a very hot day but leave very early before sun comes over the hills, say about 8:30 AM.
  • Leaving Susquehanna, in Lanesboro there is a very unique and interesting RR tressel about 2 blocks off the route to your right. Worth a little side trip. Look up, you'll see it.
  • Alternate meeting point - High School parking lot. Right from NY17/I86 ramp, on right.
  • Alternate meeting point - Bus Lot across from Palmer Elementary School at north end of Windsor on NY79. Left from NY17/I86 ramp, on right.
