From Binghamton area - west on NY17 to exit #65. Left at top of ramp, left at Y towards Owego. Right at bottom of ramp. P&C Plaza is on the right at next light.
To Destination
- Left from lot onto 17C
- Right after next light, up ramp to bridge
- Right at T onto route NY434
- Straight Continuing on NY434
- Left up Sulphur Springs Road
- Right at top of grade up Stanton Hill Road
- After passing Lounsberry Truck stop
- Left at T onto East River Road through Nichols
- Straight road becomes West River Road
- Straight road enters Bradford County PA
- Right onto bridge crossing the Susquehanna
Return to Start
- Right at T will eventually cross 1 lane bridge
- Left at T onto Cayuta
- Right onto Shepard
- Right onto route NY17C
- Continue on NY17C past Barton and Tioga Center through Owego to start

There are no services between Nichols and Barton
Notes -
Continuing climb via Stanton Hill Road can be avoided by continuing on Sulphur Springs Road to a right on Smith Creek Road (except not during 2002 construction). Adds a little less than 1 mile.
Between Barton and road to Nichols, may take a right onto Church and continue until it rejoins NY17C. No extra distance.
Entering Owego, may take Bike Route #1 to right till rejoins Bike Route #17 and route NY17C. No extra distance.
