From Binghamton area - NY17W to Exit #67 North (Route NY26 North) Follow NY26 to Maine. Park is just past Maine Memorial school. (On left as you pass the commercial part of Maine.)
Ride Description
- From parking lot Right onto NY26 south
- Right onto Maine - Newark Valley Road
- Eventually get a good climb!
- Left on Settle
NY26 to Settle, about 5 miles
- Settle becomes Stratton
- Left at T onto NY38B
about 3.5 miles from turn onto Settle to NY38B
- Right on (Old) Newark Valley Road
- Right on NY38B
- Left at T/Light onto NY26 north
- Left into parking lot at start
Places to Eat -
Not in Maine. But there is ice-cream across from the school.
Notes -
This is a nice short ride, very scenic, but pretty hilly. Suitable for an evening ride, but not really a leisurely ice-cream ride.
