Meeting Place - Lounsberry Truck Stop Rt 17

From Binghamton area, NY17 West, take exit 63, left at bottom of ramp to truck stop on left.

To Destination

  • Right (on Stanton Hill Road) from Lounsberry Truck stop
  • Left at T onto East River Drive through Nichols
  • Straight road becomes West River Drive
  • Straight road enters Bradford County PA
  • Right onto bridge, crossing the Susquehanna, into Sayre (See Notes below for directions to restaurant.)

Return to Start

  • After crossing bridge
  • Right at T will eventually cross 1 lane bridge
  • Left at T onto Cayuta
  • Right onto Shepard
  • Right onto route NY17C
  • Continue on NY17C past Barton
  • Right onto NY282 to Nichols
  • Left at T onto East River Drive
  • Right on Stanton Hill Road to Lounsberry Truck stop

Notes:

Directions to restaurant -

  • After crossing bridge into Sayre
  • Left at T onto Thomas
  • Take Right onto offramp
  • Crossing viaduct, you are now on Packer
  • Continue through several lights, then continue on through hospital grounds
  • At T, make a left on Brock
  • At T, make a right on Hayden
  • At Stop, restaurant is on the right.

Returning from restaurant -

  • From restaurant on Hough
  • Right onto Brock
  • Left onnto hospital access road
  • Continuing Straight following Packer through town
  • After crossing viaduct, Left down ramp, merge continuing left on Thomas
  • Either continue Straight on Thomas to return on north side of river, or turn Left on Lockart to cross Susquehanna River and return along south side of river.
