Meeting Place - Great American - Greene
From Binghamton area - I81 North to Exit 6, right at bottom of ramp onto US11 and "To NY12". Straight ahead and road will become NY12. Follow NY12 through Chenango Forks to Greene. As descend hill into Greene, make a right turn onto S. Chenango Street, then a right into Great American lot.
To Destination
- From lot Right on S. Chenango St.
- Right at light onto Genesee ( NY41)
- Cross bridge, start up hill
- Half way up, Left Onto Julian St (E. River Rd) CR 32
- Stay on this CR32 all the way into Oxford
- In Oxford Left at Gazebo then Left onto Greene Street
- Continue to intersection of NY12. Downtown Oxford.
Return to Start
- Greene Street to Gazebo, jog Right then
- Right onto Julian CR 32
- Right at T intersection NY41
- Cross bridge entering Greene
- At light Left onto S. Chenango Street
- Left into lot at Great American
Places to Eat:
- Roma's - In Oxford at corner Greene St. and NY12
- ???? - Ice cream and sandwiches - diagonally opposite Roma's
Notes:
- Nice open country road with beautiful views.
- Alternate return from Oxford - NY12. Less hilly, shorter, but more traffic.
